The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, in partnership with DocuPet, is rolling out a hassle-free dog registration system for the Town of Truckee! Dog owners can enjoy this user-friendly platform to register their furry friends at https://hstt.docupet.com/en_US/.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Late Fees Waived Until March 31st! Renew your pet’s license today and avoid any penalties through March 31st, 2025.
- All dogs must be licensed and vaccinated against rabies to keep our community safe.
- Every license tag includes DocuPet’s free HomeSafe ® 24/7 Lost Pet Service and includes a unique code linked to your pet’s secure profile, making it easy for finders to contact the 24/7 dispatch team for quick reunions.
- Choose from hundreds of colorful DocuPet designer tag styles or design your own! You can add your pet’s name and phone number to the back for a small fee.
- This new system makes it easier than ever to update your pup’s profile, reunite lost pets, and ensure your furry family member stays safe and identified. Stay tuned for more details!
Licensing fees
- Altered dogs 1-year: $12
- Altered dogs 2-year: $24
- Altered dogs 3-year: $36
- Unaltered dog 1-year: $32
- Unaltered dog 2-year: $64
- Unaltered dog 3-year: $96
A current rabies vaccination certificate is required to obtain the license.
