HSTT’s Thrifty Tails Boutique is a nonprofit thrift boutique offering quality second-hand and vintage items. The shop carries a curated selection of gently used and vintage clothing, pet-related goods, small home décor, artwork, jewelry, and low-cost brand-new items.
Net proceeds from the thrift boutique will support our mission to save and improve the lives of pets through adoption, community spay/neuter, and humane education programs. Additionally, net proceeds will support our community support programs, including our Community Pet Pantry, Community Pet Financial Assistance, Humane Education, and Pet Assisted Therapy programs.
Our thrift boutique will have a small staff dedicated to providing our neighbors with a sustainable way to repurpose their unneeded items, keeping clothing and household items out of landfills while supporting their favorite animal welfare nonprofit.

Thrifty Tails Boutique is accepting donations from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm on weekdays and 10:00 am – 5:00 pm on weekends
While we appreciate the intention of all donations, due to space constraints, sellability, and legal reasons, we cannot accept everything, so please be sure to check our lists of acceptable and unacceptable items.
We accept donations anytime between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday – Friday and Saturday & Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Thrifty Tails Boutique located at 12047 Donner Pass Rd., Suite A3 in Truckee.
