Liz was ready for a change after living in San Francisco for 10 years and decided to start a new chapter elsewhere. She has a passion for helping communities and animals, especially those who are Spanish speakers. This is when she stumbled upon the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe. She knew this would be the perfect place where she could combine her creativity and passion to help animals.

When Liz is not cuddling with dogs at work, you can find her exploring the area or working on her writing projects. She enjoys writing, hanging out with her two dogs, Milkshake and Kenai, and is obsessed with the Las Vegas Raiders.
