2025 Giving Tuesday
November 14 - December 2
HSTT’s 2025 Giving Tuesday is celebrating teamwork, camaraderie, and working toward a common goal—SAVING PETS!
We’ve drafted a group of 13 elite athletes (pets) to kick our campaign into high gear, including puppies, kittens, and one special dog. They will all be available at the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe on Giving Tuesday, December 2, at 10:00 a.m.
Here’s how to get involved in HSTT’s 2025 Giving Tuesday Campaign:
Searching for a love to complete your team?
See all our adorable, adoptable pets available for adoption on Giving Tuesday below.
The adoption process will be on a first-come, first-served basis on Tuesday, December 2, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Truckee Animal Shelter upon approval of the Adoption Questionnaire. Although it won’t secure you a spot in line, you can complete the adoption questionnaire in advance here. All pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. The adoption fee for puppies (4 months and under) is $200, for kittens (4 months and under) is $100, and for Dogs (5 months and older) = $150.00. Email [email protected] for more information.
We apologize in advance that not everyone seeking to adopt a Giving Tuesday pet may be able to do so, as we have a limited number available. We rescue puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats year-round, so there will be future opportunities to adopt a great pet.
You can help TWICE as many pets by donating on December 2!
Our Giving Tuesday campaign offers an incredible match to DOUBLE your donation. With a generous donor pledging to match all donations up to $100,000, the lifesaving potential for our 2025 Giving Tuesday is phenomenal.
HSTT’s intention on Giving Tuesday and every other day of the year is to make the world a better place for pets and people.
With the support of our loyal, animal-loving community, we can smash this lofty goal and let the victory celebration begin!
