Zoe was born and raised locally in the Truckee community. She grew up in Glenshire with her many cats and dog, Frankie, and loved spending her childhood at the river/lake and going on many outdoor adventures with her friends and family. Growing up in the area had a huge impact on her values, and with that is an advocate for a clean, safe and peaceful environment.

After moving back home from San Diego in 2020, she has worked in different vocations, such as cleaning and managing vacation homes and the food and beverage industry, and worked in Historic Downtown Truckee as a retail associate. Her career with HSTT at Thrifty Tails Boutique began in January of 2024, but has volunteered at the shelter throughout the years.

Her hobbies include reading, thrifting, and attending concerts/festivals. She is thrilled that she can contribute to our community by working in a space that helps slow the harmful effects of fast fashion and gives back to our furry friends who need it most. She is currently living in Truckee with her sister and is looking forward to adopting a cat from HSTT in the near future.
