Esther Coler started with the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe in November of 2024 as the Clinic Manager. She is a Registered Veterinary Technician and brings with her over 10 years of Shelter Medicine experience. She has always had a deep love for animals and is passionate about advocating for shelter animals. She believes in the work that HSTT does in keeping people and their pets together. Outside of the shelter, Esther has helped with disaster relief for animals in hurricane areas in the South-East.

Esther is originally from the East Coast but has relocated with her family to the Donner Summit for more consistent snow. She loves all the seasons of the Sierras! In her free time you can find her Nordic skiing, hiking, and exploring all the alpine lakes. She lives with her husband, Thom, sons, Indigo and Ari and beloved dog, Bubbles.
