Emma has lived in Truckee her whole life. She loves the mountains and the community that she grew up in and has always had a passion for animals. She adopted her two cats Mr. Kitty and Shmee from HSTT when she was a volunteer. Emma earned her B.A. in Psychology from UC Davis, where she especially loved the campus cows, cats, and classes. When the opportunity to join the HSTT team came along, she was excited to be able to help the animals and people of Truckee.

When she is not at work or with her cats, Emma enjoys paddle boarding, crocheting, and enjoying the nature around Tahoe. She would love to expand her passion for psychology and animals to learn more about animal behavior and welfare.
