A Truckee native, Meg Urie Rab is the Director of Marketing & Communications for Tahoe Forest Health System. Prior to joining the Health System, she was the president and creative director at POND Collective (formerly SmallPond Studio), a graphic design and marketing agency she founded in 2005. She also worked as the brand development manager for a San Francisco-based bath and body company and as a co-founder/director of marketing for a casino software start-up. Meg earned her BA at Stanford University and has served on the board of directors for the Truckee River Watershed Council, the Rotary Club of Truckee, and the Stanford Alumni Club of Northern Nevada & the Sierra. “Mom” to HSTT rescue pups Lio and Huey, Meg has been an active HSTT supporter and volunteer for over 20 years. When not working or volunteering, she enjoys trail running, skate skiing, hiking, and traveling with her son Ethan and husband Nick.
