Emily was born and raised in Oakland, CA, and moved to South Lake Tahoe in 2005 to “try out” a winter season in the mountains. She fell in love with the Tahoe lifestyle and has made her home here ever since. She lives with her partner Phil and their two dogs, Sidd and the foster fail, Flo, and Rooster, the cat and a box turtle that has been with her since college.

Emily has worked in South Lake Tahoe, creating programs and events for the community for the past 15 years. She has recently taken a role as the Special Events Coordinator for the City of South Lake Tahoe. She is excited to help the HSTT organization facilitate a stronger connection to the South Shore as well as helping to promote the work HSTT does around the entire lake.
