Adrienne Spohr
Raised in Lake Tahoe, Adrienne is the Director of Brand Strategy & Innovation at a local food and grain company. She has built her career in marketing and finance roles, primarily within the food industry, where she is passionate about growing purpose-driven brands.
Adrienne’s lifelong relationship with the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe began as a young volunteer at the Tahoe Forest shelter. One afternoon, she was asked to sit with a surrendered puppy who wouldn’t stop crying. She spent hours comforting him, and by the end of the day, Leo had found his forever home with her family. That experience sparked a deep and lasting commitment to the organization and its mission.
Today, Adrienne volunteers in many roles with HSTT, from walking dogs and supporting field trips to fostering puppies. She has a major soft spot for the blockheaded pups who sometimes face challenges finding adopters and is always one to root for the underdog.
She is a proud dog mom to Maggie, her parents’ dog who passed unexpectedly, and to Bella, a rescue from Stockton. When she’s not working or volunteering, she can be found enjoying an epic backcountry ski day and soaking in the beauty of the Tahoe-Truckee community she is proud to call home.
