Ashley’s journey is one of dedication to both animals and nature, shaped by her upbringing and her passion for fostering positive connections between people and animals. Born and raised on a farm in New Jersey, she was surrounded by a variety of animals – each an integral part of her family. Over a decade ago, Ashley moved west in pursuit of a life more immersed in nature and its offerings. After spending 15 years in the restaurant industry, she made a life-changing decision to follow her true calling: helping animals. This passion led her to volunteer with the Humane Society in 2022, and in April of 2024, she officially began her new career, which she’s fully committed to.

When she’s not working, Ashley can often be found outdoors, enjoying activities like hiking, snowboarding, and paddleboarding with her dog, Cascade, by her side. Her journey reflects her deep love for animals, nature, and people and the positive bonds that can be created between them all.
