Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jackson’s love of the outdoors and nature brought him to Truckee in 2020. After settling in and falling in love with Truckee, he adopted his dog Banjo from the Nevada humane society in Reno. He joined the team at HSTT in late 2022, looking to become a more involved part of his local community by helping people in Truckee and the surrounding area find the perfect pet. Jackson has always had dogs and cats since he was a kid, has worked with farm animals, and has always had a fascination with and respect for wild animals. You can find Jackson on the hiking trails, at the lakes and rivers or grabbing a coffee in town with Banjo.
