Pegasus's Story
Pegasus is the type of boy who plays hard to get, but once you gain his trust, you know exactly why everyone at the shelter is in love with him. He’s intelligent, loves to explore, and is undeniably adorable. Pegasus values creating bonds with his human companions. While he may initially be reserved around new people, once he warms up to you, he’s a loyal friend for life. The way to his heart is to play fetch with him. His version of fetch is the handler throws the ball, he retrieves the ball, and then he runs to you for some scratches. You spend the majority of your fetch session giving him affection. Repeat this cycle four times, and you will be added to his friends list in no time. His foster describes Pegasus as a silly guy in the home who enjoys following you around during dinner time, lounging in his crate, or playing with other dogs who he bonds with. He does well on leash making him the ideal partner for outdoor activities. Pegasus is looking for a patient family to help him adjust to his new home and shower him with all the love and treats he deserves!
