Cass is an animal lover, a vegan, a lifelong pet parent, and brings 10 years of experience in communications to the team. Cass has worked in the Truckee-Tahoe area as a PR specialist for Vail Resorts, entertainment and features reporter for the Sierra Sun and Lake Tahoe Magazine, and has done freelance media and public relations for several area businesses.

She is passionate about the Truckee-Tahoe community and has been an avid volunteer at several non-profits since moving to Truckee in 2016. Most recently, she worked assisting local adults with developmental disabilities to reach their personal and employment goals. She has been a volunteer at HSTT for the past four years and is thrilled to officially join the team and serve animals by matching foster pets up with the perfect community members on their road to adoption.

Outside of work, Cass enjoys practicing yoga, cooking, and getting outside with her husband Sean and their two dogs, Poogie the chihuahua and Bonnie the pug-chihuahua, who is also an HSTT alumni.
