RUFF
HSTT’s Reading Program, RUFF (Read Up For Fun) is designed to build self esteem in young readers. Trained volunteers bring their dogs into area schools where children will read to the dog.

EDVENTURE SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS
We've expanded summer camp! There are two sessions to pick from depending on your child's age. Each session is one week long and full of fun and excitment! This week long program teaches everything from the fundamentals of caring for pets to concepts of pet overpopulation through unique workshops, craft projects and guest speakers.

PET LOSS SUPPORT GROUP The death of a beloved pet can be devastating, and for some people, the grief can be more intense than human loss. Often pet loss is disenfranchised, whereby not everyone can understand the depths of grief which surface for our companion friends.

ADULT SPRING SPEAKER SERIES
High School Students and Adults, we have a new line up of incredible speakers that will share their expertise with us!

DOG TRAINING By providing access to dog training at our shelter through Savvy Dog Training & Education we hope to facilitate successful dog ownership as well as successful adoptions.
