SOCIALIZATION
Our Pet Socialization programs teach dogs how to behave on a walk, in the car and around other pets.

FOSTERING
The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe is able to offer a large variety of adoptable animals due to our extensive foster program.

PET ASSISTED THERAPY
Through this program, certified HSTT volunteers and their companion animals visit Tahoe Forest Hospital’s Extended Care Center, the med/surgical (inpatient) department and other various Tahoe Forest Hospital programs, such as hospice, in-home healthcare and the Children’s Center.

PUBLIC EDUCATION
Whether you are a teacher, a parent or just want to educate yourself, HSTT has a comprehensive Public Education Program full of useful information.

COMMUNITY SPAY & NEUTER
The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, the Town of Truckee Animal Control and participating vets have combined forces to provide a low cost Community Spay and Neuter Program.
