IN MEMORY/HONOR GIVING
A donation in memory or in honor of a person or pet is a wonderful way to show you care and make a difference. Your gift will go directly toward helping the homeless animals in our community. The families of people or pets remembered or honored are happy to know a gift has been made on behalf of their loved one. A letter will be sent to the recipient notifying them of your contribution and your gift will be noted in the next HSTT newsletter issue.

PLANNED GIVING
You can support the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe’s future efforts to save and improve the lives of homeless pets by including us in your will or other estate plans. Estate gifts can reduce your income taxes, reduce or eliminate capital gain taxes and possibly reduce your gift or estate tax. Consult your tax advisor for more details.

VEHICLE DONATION PROGRAM
You can quickly and easily donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of your vehicle to HSTT. Here’s how it works:

Download and fill out the Vehicle Donation form, then fax it to our vehicle donation partner, Car Programs, LLC.

Car Programs will approve your vehicle donation and arrange to pick up your donated vehicle.

Car Programs takes care of the rest, including the DMV paperwork.

BIRTHDAY/HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS
Your next party or celebration can have a lifesaving theme when you choose to have donations made to the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe on behalf of your birthday, wedding or any other holiday.

There are a number of ways to make this easy and fun for you. You can simply collect monetary contributions, food and toy donations or a combination of whatever your guests choose and call us to pick them up. Or you can contact Dale Lawrence at (530) 587-5948 to discuss any other ideas you may have ... maybe a special HSTT pet can make an appearance at your next party.

COLLECTION BOXES
Collection boxes are an easy way to let your customers know you care and make a donation to HSTT.
 
A cash jar at your place of business is a convenient way to collect donations for the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe. HSTT will supply you with a snazzy-looking cash jar, making it easy for your customers to support us and let them know you care about homeless pets in our community. Simply place the cash jar in a high-traffic, high-visibility area, and let your customers do the rest.
