World Spay Day

8:00am to 4:00pm

Want to be a life-saver?

Join us for World Spay Day on Tuesday, February 23rd and get into the CONE ZONE!

Spaying and neutering is the most effective and humane means of decreasing the euthanasia of homeless animals in shelters.

The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, Town of Truckee, and Local Veterinarians in Truckee and North Lake Tahoe have teamed up to provide FREE SPAY/NEUTER SURGERIES to qualifying cats or dogs within our community for WORLD SPAY DAY! Spaying or neutering your pet can be the single best decision you make for his or her long-term welfare!

All spots have been booked for our World Spay Day event! If you would like to apply for our low-cost spay/neuter program for community cats and dogs, please click here.

For Pitbulls or Chihuahuas, please apply for our FREE Pitbull/Chihuahua spay/neuter clinic here.

**Already spayed or neutered your pet, and still want to participate in this life-saving event? Help us by sponsoring a spay or neuter surgery and by spreading the word! Encourage your friends and family members to have their animals spayed or neutered to help already living animals find their loving forever homes! Every life is worth saving, and every effort counts.

We’d like to thank Burton Creek Veterinary Clinic, Doctors office for Pets, Donner Truckee Veterinary Hospital, and Sierra Pet Clinic for participating in this worthy cause by generously donating free surgeries to the community!
