Spay/Neuter Awareness Month

Wednesday, February 1, 2017 - 8:30am to Tuesday, February 28, 2017 - 6:30pm

Baby Momma Drama got you down? Ready to be a life-saver?

Join us for Spay/Neuter Awareness month all February long, and celebrate with free spay/neuter surgeries in observance of World Spay Day 2017!

Spaying and neutering is the most effective and humane means of decreasing the euthanasia of homeless animals in shelters.

The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, Town of Truckee, and Local Veterinarians in North Lake Tahoe have teamed up to provide FREE SPAY/NEUTER SURGERIES to qualifying cats or dogs within our community for WORLD SPAY DAY! Spaying or neutering your pet can be the single best decision you make for his or her long-term welfare!

To participate please fill out an online application.

You can also download and complete the application or come by the shelter located at 10961 Stevens Lane in Truckee with your pet’s vaccination records to sign up.

Spots are limited - don’t wait!

Already spayed or neutered your pet, and still want to participate in this life-saving event?  Help us by sponsoring a spay or neuter surgery and by spreading the word! Encourage your friends and family members to have their animals spayed or neutered to help already living animals find their loving forever homes! Every life is worth saving, and every effort counts.

We’d like to thank Burton Creek Veterinary Clinic, Doctors Office for Pets, Donner Truckee Veterinary Hospital, and Sierra Pet Clinic for participating in this worthy cause by generously donating free surgeries to the community!
